The training focuses on understanding private buried infrastructure risk, defining scope and expectations before work begins, and recognizing how early decisions influence safety, project delays, and liability exposure. Participants learn how risk is introduced through access limitations, documentation gaps, incomplete locates, and unmanaged assumptions.
 
Emphasis is placed on practical decision making, documentation awareness, coordination with qualified professionals, and knowing when additional investigation or controls are required to manage risk responsibly.
 
Completion of Know Before You Dig Level I is required and is included as part of this training bundle.
